Art is cathartic both for the artist and their audience. Every person has a story that needs to be heard, and video is a phenomenal and personal format for people to share their experiences.
I combine archival footage, home movies, and interviews with expressive music and visuals to create emotional, nostalgic films that connect memories of a person's past to the realities of the present. In my films, I explore how people make sense of the world around them based on the interactions between their perspectives and identities. I value creating emotional and immersive viewing experiences for my audience, and I consider how my art makes my viewers feel above everything else.
